How We Began
​A symbol of strength and resiliency, the West African Baobab tree lives to be thousands of years old. It bears fruit that is medicinal in nature, and is a place of ancient spiritual practices. It is revered and honored. Having grown up in a West African country, Senegal, the Baobab tree is a part of Rebekah, owner and founder. It symbolizes the strength and resiliency she believes each client possess for healing.
Our lives can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lonely and hopeless. Hope begins from within you and manifests itself in your everyday experiences. Working together, you and your therapist will explore the barriers between you and your desired goals. Sometimes these barriers are past
experiences from which you have struggled to heal. At other times, barriers present themselves as deeply rooted beliefs you have about yourself and the world. We get the privilege to partner with you to discover your own resiliency and strength, feel empowered and experience hope. In a compassionate, supportive environment, you can begin to unravel the underlying reasons for staying stuck, to establish achievable goals and to heal. ​
