Will Ard, LMSW

Everyone’s experience inside (and outside of) therapy is unique, which is why I adapt my therapeutic approach to work collaboratively with those I see. My therapeutic approach primarily consists of psychodynamic theory, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral techniques, and an internal family systems framework. With my background in music and passion for media psychology, any opportunity to integrate art, humor, and creativity into our work together is embraced. I practice through a lens of social justice, trauma informed care, and shame resilience theory. Sessions may include, processing experiences, skill development, engaging in creative activities, utilizing neurological interventions, exploring cultural and social justice issues, and more. I prefer working collaboratively and tailoring treatment to your unique needs. I offer an affirming space for individuals and families to embrace possibility and difference. Clients have described me as warm, caring, and easy to talk with, and I am grateful for the opportunity to join you on your journey. Free to call me at: (404) 884-8004 or email me here.
